Dear Judged
Shfting BaseAt present I am
practicing Litigation at Anderson Kill & Olick in Illinois.
But at the same time I want to get into Edwards Angell Palmer &
Dodge LLP.Now I
am confused about shifting my practice from Illinois to Rhode
Island. Do you think its worth it? I’m
not too sure about it. Both the firms are good but
there’s something deep down that’s telling me not to go in
spite of everything being finalized.

Reading your question
reminds me of something I read in my boyfriend’s Maxim
once. It was an article about the 101 stupidest ideas ever.
Number 52 was, “Rhode Island: what’s the point”. Now, I
know Rhode Island is great and all, but I thought it was pretty funny.
Anyways, I guess the question is where your priorities lie. Those are both
great firms, but where do you want to live? And if your focus is on your
career, then which firm is offering you the most growth potential. But to
me, it sounds like you’ve already made up your mind; if you already
having a feeling that you shouldn’t go, then don’t.
