I think it would impossible to count how many relationships law school has destroyed. I think it’s the combination of long hours, stress, ever-growing debt…I’m surprised anyone’s relationship survives law school. But I’m appealing on his behalf: (no pun intended) don’t give up on him yet. You’ve just finished three years surrounded by crazed legal fanatics. And when you start work, it’ll get even more intense; believe it or not you may want a break from all the legal stuff when you get home. It’s nice to have normal, non-lawyer people in your life, who can go to a bar and not talk about torts and debate the constitution the whole time.  That being said, if your boyfriend lives at a bar and can’t hold a conversation, look for another guy. Another guy who doesn’t necessarily have to be a lawyer…say it with me people, balance….
