Dear Judged
College Football Tournament or no?I hope you watched the thrilling Boise State v. Oklahoma clash this
weekend. How does the Judge side on the status quo vs. football tournament
debate for deciding a national championship?
Sorry, not law
related, but I find this topic far more fascinating, and so much that it
helps me get through my law related job.

Dear rbrown,
Unfortunately, I
missed the game; my job has been keeping me away from football (and from
television in general, which is a very sad thing). In terms
of the status quo vs. football tournament debate for deciding a national
championship, I have to admit that I’m not familiar enough with it to
have an opinion (cut me some slack, I’m a girl). However, my brother
does have very strong feelings about this, so I’ll just steal his
viewpoint and say I support football tournaments.
And don’t worry; I
think all lawyers feel the need to think about non legal topics to get
through the working day. At my old job, one of the attorneys
would literally hide a Sports Illustrated magazine inside of a law journal
and read it at his desk. Whatever it takes to make it through
the day…
