Oregon's New Law about Assisted SuicideYour Honor,
Just wanted to let you know that the Supreme Court did the right thing
here. I feel that the courts had every right to uphold this law. It is
just a shame that it took so long and the battles that had to go on. I am
all for doctors giving their patients overdoses who are terminally ill or
patients who can not bare to be put through the pain and suffering of their
illness knowing that they will never get better. I just hope that the
doctors and other people will not take advantage of this law and make it a
horror story. This law was passed for a reason and the physicians and
other people able to practice medicine should not use this for an excuse.
I feel that this law will be great if it is followed correctly. Does this
mean that the other states will following in suite?
