Dear Judged
multi currency and cross border financingCan you please tell me something about multi currency and cross border
financing. I know that withholding and foreign tax credit issue is not
child’s play but I think if I try I know I will make it. But can you
please let me know about the ins and outs. Just want to widen my
practice.

First of all, before you read any further, let me put a disclaimer on this response. Multicurrency and Cross Border Financing are highly complex areas of law. If you haven't studied them extensively and don't have any actual practice experience in them, my paltry definitions and explanations are not going to be able to help you "make it". There, now that I don't feel like I'm giving you a green light to start contacting lenders, here you go! Multicurrency and Cross-Border Financing deals with representing lenders who provide credit facilities with commitments in foreign currencies and structuring cross-border transactions for lenders and for borrowers, including advising with respect to withholding and foreign tax credit issues. Beyond that, if you want to know more...you should go back to law school. Sadly the Judge is not "the Professor". At least not yet...
