Dear Doppiedaps,
I love this saying, mostly because I tend to think its true.
Professionally, obviously I favor attorneys who know the law, because well,
they're competent. The attorneys who "know the Judge" are annoying-they
don't do anything because they don't have to do anything. I hate
the Old Boys Club, and its not just because I'm neither old nor a boy!
That being said, every time someone asks me what kind of lawyer they should
get, I always respond, "someone who knows the Judge". You can't argue
with results!
