Dear Judged
Help!How can new lawyers
stand out among their peers?

Dear ritch,
Stand out? There are
lots of ways you can stand out…for example, if you’re a woman,
you can wear slutty clothes to the office; you’ll get lots of
attention that way. Just kidding! In all seriousness, that’s a great
question, and there are a lot of ways you catch the attention of your
peers. The easiest way is to get involved in your local bar association:
start organizing programs, writing articles; even try to run for some sort
of formal position. That’s one of the easiest ways to
get your name out there. At work, it’s a bit tougher. You should
still try and get involved with firm activities, but in order to really
catch the attention of your peers and the partners, it’s important to
do amazing work. As we all know, that’s what really catches
everyone’s eye!
