Dear Judged
not allowed to change my baseI’m currently employed at a New York based law firm. This firm has
an office in Atlanta too. I want to move there due to some reasons. But
the firm does not seem to be very happy with this decision. I joined the
firm keeping them well informed about working in Atlanta at a later stage.
But now they seem to be ignoring this issue. What should I do in this
situation?

Dear Doppiedaps,
Honestly, this is kind of out of your hands. If you’ve made your
feelings about moving to Atlanta known and the firm is against it,
there’s not a whole lot you can do (besides quit your job, of course,
but I’m assuming you would like to avoid that option). The most you
can do is make your wishes known and see if the firm is willing to
comply…
