Smith Moore Expands Real Estate Practice In Raleigh Office
Smith Moore LLP has added Ted Edwards as a partner in its construction and real estate practice in Raleigh. Edwards focuses his practice in commercial real estate development, including project administration, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution. He joins Smith Moore's recent business practice expansions in Wilmington and Charlotte, and is the 24th attorney to join the firm this year.

"The firm's vibrant real estate practice, and the interest it takes in its communities, are what drew me."

Brad Risinger, partner-in-charge of Smith Moore's Raleigh office, said Edwards' addition is part of the firm's strategy to grow its real estate, development, and land use capabilities. "Our clients are pursuing projects that range from the coast to the mountains, and we are expanding to meet those needs. Ted's skills, experience, and strong ties across the state are a perfect complement."
