Mary Margaret Hyatt appointed to the SC Bar's Administrative and Regulatory Law Committee
McAngus Goudelock & Courie is pleased to announce that Mary Margaret Hyatt has been appointed to the SC Bar’s Administrative and Regulatory Law Committee. The one-year term begins July 1, 2006.

Ms. Hyatt, an associate in our Columbia office, practices in the areas of administrative law and healthcare law. She has experience in healthcare licensing, certificates of need, Stark/Anti-Kickback issues, and healthcare litigation. Ms. Hyatt graduated from Furman University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in health and exercise science. She received a Master of Public Health from the University of South Carolina. Ms. Hyatt also received her Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law where she was a founding member of the Health Law Society.

Greenbaum Among Best
Fred Greenbaum, MVP President, is again among ""The Best Lawyers in America"" for 2006-2007. Stubbs Appointed ABA Committee Chair
Clifford K. Stubbs, a McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips' shareholder in its Roeland Park office, has been named 2004-2005 Chair of the Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability Law Committee of the American Bar Association. The announcement of Cliff's selection was made at the ABA's annual convention in Atlanta, Georgia, August 5 to 9, 2004. The Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability Law Committee is charged with recommending policy on workers' compensation and employers' liability to the ABA.

Cliff has been a shareholder with McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips since 1996. His area of legal specialty is workers' compensation defense, a field in which he has developed a national reputation. In November 2004, he will be addressing more than 2,000 delegates on the subject at the National Workers' Compensation and Disability Conference in Chicago, Illinois.

Don McAleese appointed to the Board of the International Technology Law Association (ITech Law)
Don McAleese, partner and head of the Information Technology Law Group at Matheson Ormsby Prentice has been appointed to the Board of the International Technology Law Association (ITech Law) (formerly the Computer Law Association). ITech Law is the world's leading organisation representing lawyers in the field of technology law. It operates across six continents and focuses on all areas of Information Technology Law. This appointment further enhances the international reputation of the firm's Information Technology law practice.

Don specialises in all aspects of computer, communications, e-commerce, Internet and telecommunications technology law, and has been involved in some of the largest information technology contracts and projects in Ireland. He is currently the National Representative of ITech Law for Ireland, is a member of the European Commission Legal Advisory Board on the Information Market and is Chairman of the Legal Working Group of the Irish Internet Association. He has also served on the Legal Issues Advisory Group to the Irish Information Society Commission and he was previously Chairman of the Electronic Commerce Association of Ireland Legal Issues Group.

Carole S. Strobel Installed as the 75th President of the Burlington County Bar Association
Margolis Edelstein takes great pleasure in announcing Carol S. Strobel, Esquire, a senior associate in our southern New Jersey office, will be sworn in as the 75th President of the Burlington County Bar Association in June. Carole will be the third female President (and the youngest in the history of Burlington County).

Partner Zygmunt R. Bialkowski, Jr. Appointed by the PA Supreme Court as Chair of the Pennsylvania Lawyers Fund for Client Security
Zygmunt R. Bialkowski, Jr., a partner in the Margolis Edelstein Scranton office, has been appointed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court as Chair of the Pennsylvania Lawyers Fund for Client Security. Bialkowski, a former President of the Lackawanna Bar Association, has also served on the PBA Board of Governors and now sits on the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation Board of Directors.

Kenneth M. Denti has joined Margolis Edelstein as a partner in the Westmont, NJ office. Mr. Denti comes to our firm from Fox Rothschild and brings his domestic relations, real estate, land use, and general commercial practice.
