Graham & Dunn Ranked 4th Best Seattle Law Firm by Corporate Board Member Magazine
Graham & Dunn PC is tied for fourth in Corporate Board Member magazine's list of the best corporate law firms in Seattle. The study identifies the top 20 national corporate law firms and the top five corporate law firms in 25 major metropolitan areas. The rankings are published in the July/August 2007 issue of Corporate Board Member magazine.

About the Survey

Corporate Board Member/FTI Consulting surveyed directors serving on boards of publicly traded companies listed with the NYSE, NASDAQ, or American Stock Exchange. The directors were divided into groups based on the location of their companies within metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs). Directors in each of the 25 MSAs featured received a questionnaire specific to their location that included a list of 20 local firms and two write-in options. To be included in the list, each firm had to practice business, corporate, or commercial law and had to be one of the 20 largest firms in its area by number of attorneys. Respondents were asked to select the five local law firms, from the list provided or as a write-in, they would most likely select to aid their companies on a broad range of corporate legal issues. The top five law firms in each MSA are listed in the magazine based on the number of votes received.

David B. McKinney Joins GableGotwals as a Shareholder
We are pleased to announce that David B. McKinney has joined the firm as a Shareholder in our Tulsa office.

Mr. McKinney has represented individuals and large corporations for the past 32 years in a broad array of corporate and commercial matters. Mr. McKinney also practices in the health law area representing physicians and health organizations. He is currently the Chair of the Oklahoma Bar Association Health Law Section and is listed in “Best Lawyers in America,� Health Care.

Mr. McKinney also works on various issues relating to estate planning, employee benefits and personnel. He is the immediate past moderator of the Tulsa Pension Attorneys, is immediate past president of the Tulsa Employee Benefits Group, and is listed in “Best Lawyers in America,� Employee Benefits.

As counsel to higher education institutions and as Vice President and Trustee to The Mervin Bovaird Foundation, he has developed expertise in the fields of nonprofit and education law. He serves as general counsel to many businesses and has completed numerous financings, mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. McKinney received a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University School of Law where he was a Stone Scholar, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Rice University.

Darryl J. Colosi, a partner with Hiscock & Barclay, LLP and a resident of Orchard Park, has been elected to a three-year term as Managing Director of the Firm’s 43-lawyer Buffalo Office.
