Proskauer Rose Widely Recognized in 2007 Chambers USA
Proskauer Rose LLP, an international law firm with over 700 lawyers worldwide, has been widely recognized in the 2007 edition of Chambers USA, an annual directory of America's leading business lawyers.

The firm received 66 individual attorney rankings, an increase of 53 percent over 2006, with 27 lawyers ranked for the first time. In addition, this is the second consecutive year the firm has experienced a 25-percent increase in the number of practice areas ranked.

Proskauer is recognized across all of its national offices and departments and important practice areas in this year's Chambers, with its national sports law, ERISA litigation and wealth management practices receiving top rankings in addition to its New York-based employment defense, health care, and false advertising practices and its Boston-based private investment funds practice.

A range of practice areas and attorneys in the firm's Paris office were singled out in this year's guide, with its real estate construction practice receiving top ranking. The other Paris-based practice areas that were recognized include: corporate/M&A; dispute resolution; employment; insurance; pharma/life sciences; and public law. DLA Piper secures role on Government's new Catalist framework
DLA Piper UK LLP is pleased to announce that it has been awarded panel places on the Government's new Catalist Consultancy framework for legal services, the successor to L-Cat, estimated to be worth a total of over £240m. DLA Piper is one of only two firms which have been appointed as a legal advisor to HM Government, both North and South of the border, having recently been re-appointed to the Scottish Executive's legal panel.

DLA Piper won places on the two major panels covering full commercial work ( Lot 7) and major projects (Lot 8) and is one of only a small number of firms which are recognised in all categories of legal service including: IT and telecoms, property and estates, construction, employment and pensions, corporate and finance and intellectual property.

These recent panel wins complement DLA Piper's existing range of public sector clients, which include: the Department of Health, the Department for Work and Pensions and HM Land Registry. The firm also acts for over 50 local authorities and has lawyers involved in some of the highest profile projects including the NHS National Programme for IT and the Liverpool Kings Waterfront Regeneration.

Five Bayard Firm Attorneys Recognized by Chambers USA 2007
America's Leading Lawyers for Business, released Friday. The firm's Bankruptcy and Restructuring, Intellectual Property and Real Estate practices also achieved accolades in Delaware in the 5th edition of the legal guide.
