Arnold Bressler, former Chair of Epstein Becker’s Business Law practice joins Moses & Singer. Brings with Him Partner, Associate and Corporate Clientele
Arnold N. Bressler, former chair of the national business law practice at Epstein Becker & Green, has joined Moses & Singer, where he will practice in the firm’s corporate, merger and acquisition, finance and securities practices. Bressler, who has extensive experience in representing other law firms, will also be a member of Moses & Singer’s newly formed Legal Ethics & Law Firm Practice group.

Bressler brings with him corporate partner Wai Y. Chan and associate Carlos F. Ramirez, who have been part of the team servicing middle-market public and closely held corporations. The three will continue their broad-based corporate law practice, with an emphasis on public and private offerings and mergers and acquisitions.

“When I looked around the law firm landscape, I sensed a certain sameness to most of them,” Bressler said. “I saw a lot of fine firms, but they were either branch offices of national firms or firms with multiple offices that were not as nimble or entrepreneurial as I would like. In Moses & Singer, I saw a firm that is fiercely independent and proud of it, collegial, professional, of extremely high quality and flexible and entrepreneurial.

“Moses & Singer reminds me of what the great firms were like before the practice of law became about running a business that happened to be a law firm. I had plenty of choices, and I chose Moses & Singer,” he said.

Jay R. Fialkoff, Moses & Singer’s managing partner and a member of its management committee, said: “Arnie would be an asset to the corporate law group at any firm in the nation, and we’re thrilled to have him here. He practices corporate law with an eye toward spotting potential problems and resolving them, maximizing opportunity for corporate clients, and understanding not only the law but also the business goals of his clients.

“His existing clients have great faith in him, and our firm’s corporate clients will benefit from his presence here as well,” Fialkoff added. “Arnie’s extensive experience in law firm management also makes him a superb addition to our Legal Ethics & Law Firm Practice group.”

Bressler, who received his law degree from Columbia University Law School, is involved in a number of philanthropic organizations. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Congregation Rodeph Sholom and the Board of Directors of the Association of Reform Zionists of America. For more than 10 years, he served as a director and an officer of an organization that supports social service programs in Israel. From 1996 to 2000, he also served on the Visiting Committee of Case Western Reserve University, from which he received his bachelor’s degree.
