Jeffrey S. Greener joins Rivkin Radler as new Partner
William M. Savino, Managing Partner of Rivkin Radler LLP, has announced that Jeffrey S. Greener, of Great Neck, New York, has joined the firm as a Partner in the Trusts, Estates & Taxation Practice Group.

Jeffrey Greener concentrates his practice on protecting, preserving and passing on wealth. His work includes estate and business succession planning, elder law and asset protection. In addition to drafting wills, trusts, health care directives, shareholder, partnership and buy-sell agreements and durable powers of attorney, Mr. Greener also counsels clients on a broad range of legal and financial issues, such as medicaid planning, retirement distributions, real property transfers, probate and estate administration.

Mr. Greener has extensive experience in the administration of decedents' estates, IRS audits and other tax controversies, business formations and dissolutions, and corporate, partnership and limited liability company creation and maintenance. Mr. Greener also organizes and represents charitable organizations, and currently serves on the Board of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.

WilmerHale Secures Antitrust Clearance for Linde In BOC Acquisition
WilmerHale secured antitrust clearance from the US Federal Trade Commission for the $14.9 billion acquisition of the BOC Group by its client Linde AG.

Linde and BOC are both international suppliers of industrial gases for a variety of applications in industries including chemical, electronic, food and healthcare. Linde's acquisition of BOC represents the largest acquisition in Linde's history and one of the largest acquisitions ever by a German company of non-German firm.

WilmerHale also represented Linde before the European Commission, which cleared the transaction on June 6, 2006, after a Phase I investigation on the basis of commitments offered by Linde. WilmerHale continues to represent Linde in coordinating merger filings with various competition authorities throughout the world.

Timothy R. Densler Joins Williams Mullen as CFO
Timothy R. Densler has been named chief financial officer of Williams Mullen law firm. In this position, Mr. Densler will oversee the firm's accounting and reporting activity. Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Mr. Densler served as director of accounting and finance for Morris Nichols Arsht & Tunnel, LLP, in Wilmington, Del. Mr. Densler holds an executive MBA from Fox Business School at Temple University, a master's in taxation from Widener University and a BS in accounting from Wilmington College. Mr. Densler is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants. As an adjunct faculty member at Wilmington College, Mr. Densler taught graduate courses in profit, planning and budgeting and undergraduate classes in advanced accounting with a focus on accounting for mergers and acquisitions, consolidated financial reporting, 8k and 10K filings and compliance regulations. Other undergraduate classes included tax accounting for corporations and partnerships, principles of finance, auditing, principles of management, and intermediate accounting.

Mr. Densler relocated to the Richmond area from Delaware with his wife, Susan, and three sons, Jace, 17, Ryan, 16, and Jared, 7.

TC Launches "Salute to Innovation" Campaign on KTRS
Thompson Coburn will be back on the radio with the “Salute to Innovation” series on KTRS (550 AM) during baseball Cardinals pre-game shows. Spots will air in conjunction with evening games scheduled Monday through Thursday now through Sept. 19. The KTRS pre-game show starts about 30 minutes prior to game time. The “Salute to Innovation” campaign will feature 30-second segments highlighting the creative achievements of St. Louis-area companies and organizations, including many TC clients. Spots will be posted on Voyager after they air on the radio.
