The Ohio Rising Stars list was published in the July 2006 issue of Cincinnati Magazine and in the Ohio Super Lawyers publication. Ron was also the subject of a feature-length article in the Ohio Super Lawyer magazine, which highlights Ron's expertise and experience with technology related matters. Brimm joins Ellis Lawhorne as Executive Director
Jack Brimm has joined Ellis Lawhorne as its Executive Director responsible for oversight of the law firm’s administrative operations.

Previous to joining Ellis Lawhorne, Brimm had served as Director of Administration of two law firms, Burr & Forman LLP of Alabama and Sidley Austin Brown & Wood of New York. He also spent seven years at Mercer University as a Professor of Education, Department Chairman and Director of Graduate Education and was a Professor of Education at Tennessee Technological University.

Brimm holds a doctorate in education from The University of Tennessee and Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from Memphis State University.

Duckor Spradling Metzger & Wynne, a San Diego-based law corporation is pleased to announce that Bart M. Blechschmidt and Vivian W. Shultz have joined the firm as associate attorneys.

Prior to joining Duckor Spradling Metzger & Wynne in 2002, Bart Blechschmidt was general counsel for a large real estate investment and management company. As general counsel, Bart gained experience in all aspects of commercial property, including commercial leasing, purchase and sale transactions, as well as real estate litigation. Prior to becoming general counsel for Pars Assets, LLC, Bart worked in several different litigation firms, gaining extensive trial experience in various types of litigation.

Vivian Shultz practices in the areas of business litigation and creditors' rights. She has experience in commercial and business litigation matters involving a wide variety of issues, such as contract, trade secret, unfair competition, eminent domain, lender liability and employment disputes. She has also represented financial institutions, landlords, tenants, debtors and other secured creditors in both pre-bankruptcy workout and collections matters, as well as in bankruptcy proceedings under Chapters 7, 11, and 13.

Jason D. Minard has joined TCLM&M as an associate attorney. Mr. Minard recently graduated from the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated at the top of his class with a Juris Doctor. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University. Mr. Minard has worked as a Summer Associate and Law Clerk for law firms in Highland, New York and Miami, Florida respectively, gaining experience in toxic tort litigation, planning, zoning, land use and municipal law.
