Eric J. Plinke Joins Columbus Office of Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP
Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP ("BDB") is proud to welcome Eric J. Plinke, a Shareholder, resident in the Columbus office. The addition of Mr. Plinke increases the office to 31 attorneys, and strengthens its Health & Medicine practice. His practice will continue to focus on counseling corporate and individual clients in all aspects of health law.

Mr. Plinke has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the field of health law and as one of Ohio’s Super Lawyers™. He has counseled clients in practice formation, joint ventures, contract review and preparation, compliance programs, HIPAA privacy regulations, and fraud and abuse issues. He has also successfully represented both entities and providers in medical staff matters and third party payor audits and has significant experience representing physicians and other health care professionals in regulatory investigations and hearings. Black, both of Brown Rudnick’s structured finance practice, assist Citizenre in developing the Company’s corporate finance, real estate, vendor finance and banking relationships. “We are delighted to serve as special counsel to Citizenre, helping to secure the company’s major funding for its Northeast manufacturing facility,” said Ron Borod, chair of Brown Rudnick’s structured finance practice. “Citizenre expects many forms of revenue – from PV rentals, franchise revenues and long-term equipment sales agreements, among others—that create an excellent foundation for securitization and
structured finance.”

Brown Rudnick is one of the nation’s premier law firms in the development and application of structured finance to the renewable energy industry. The firm has teamed with both issuers and underwriters to use Asset-Backed Securities to make financing more available and more efficient for innovative renewable energy companies like Citizenre.

Structured Growth Partners “Citizenre is perfectly situated for structured finance by virtue of several unique ‘Best of Breed’ elements in its business model,” said Douglas R. Anthony Dixon serves as senior advisor to Citizenre’s finance team, drawing on his international perspective and 16 years experience in securitization, structured finance, and debt capital markets. Most recently Mr. Dixon was Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Debt Capital Markets group for Citigroup in London, where he raised over $4 billion for clients in the European, Asian and US debt markets. His securitization work has been recognized with the Asia Securitization Deal of the Year 1997 and the Japanese Securitization Deal of the Year 2001.

Linda Friedman Named Alabama Law Foundation Fellow
Linda A. Friedman, a partner at Bradley Arant Rose & White LLP, has been named a Fellow of the Alabama Law Foundation. The purpose of the Fellows is to honor lawyers who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to their profession and their community. Admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1976, Ms. Friedman's election to the Fellows is recognition of her accomplishments by her colleagues and is limited to 1% of bar membership. Outside of her work at the firm, Ms. Friedman is President of the Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham, serves on the Board of the Downtown Birmingham Kiwanis Club and is an Advisory Board Member for the UAB Business School.

Ellerman to Assume Roles in Cincinnati Bar Association
Paige L. Ellerman, an attorney in the law firm of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, recently became chair-elect of the Young Lawyers Section of the Cincinnati Bar Association. Ellerman also was appointed to the Boards of Trustees of both the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the CBA.

Ellerman, a resident of Newport, Kentucky serves as the president of the Board of Governors of Salmon P. Chase College of Law Alumni Association and also as the National Administrative District Director for the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity for Women, Inc. She is past president of The Yearlings, Inc. For the past three years, Ellerman has been selected by Cincinnati Magazine as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and also was selected as a 2006 Ohio Rising Star by Law & Politics and Cincinnati Magazine. She is a member of the St. Elizabeth Medical Center Foundation where she serves on the Annual Support Committee and chair of the 2006 Benefactor Drive. She is a member of the firm's Professional Womens Resource Group.
