Law Firm Attorney Named Pennsylvania Rising Star
Edgar Snyder & Associates, a law firm representing injured people, is pleased to announce that Attorney Christopher M. Miller has been selected as a 2006 Pennsylvania Rising Star. This is the second year in a row that Attorney Miller has been named as a Pennsylvania Rising Star. Law & Politics magazine performs the polling, research and selection of Rising Stars in a process designed to identify outstanding Pennsylvania lawyers who have demonstrated superior professional potential. Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, chosen by their peers as being among the top five percent of state-wide attorneys, nominate the best up-and-coming attorneys who are age 40 and under, or who have been practicing 10 years or less. Attorney Miller will be honored in the December 2006 issue of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers - Rising Stars Edition.

Attorney Miller earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. A Pittsburgh resident, Attorney Miller is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He serves on the Board of Governors for the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

Edgar Snyder & Associates is a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm with offices in Pittsburgh, Altoona, Ebensburg, Erie and Johnstown.

Attorney Edgar Snyder & Partners Named 2006 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers ®
For a third year in a row, Attorney Edgar Snyder has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, an honor awarded to the top five percent of state-wide lawyers. Attorney Snyder is joined in earning the 2006 Super Lawyer distinction by his partners, Attorney Todd Berkey, Attorney Cynthia Danel, Attorney Richard Rosenthal and Attorney Michael Rosenzweig. Each Super Lawyer is chosen by their peers as being among the best in the profession.

Only the top five percent of Pennsylvania attorneys are named Super Lawyers based on votes from attorneys throughout the state who nominated the best lawyers they have personally observed in action. An attorney-led research staff reviewed the nominees’ credentials, licensure, and standing with the Bar, assigning points based upon defined evaluation criteria. A Blue Ribbon panel of attorneys scored the top vote-getters, who were divided into 55 areas of practice.

“I am honored to receive this award along with many of my partners, particularly because our colleagues recognized our team’s work on behalf of our clients.

Dunn Carney's Day of Caring
Dunn Carney celebrated its Day of Caring on October 7th this year by volunteering for Mt. Hood Habitat for Humanity. A crew of 16 attorneys and staff went on site to a Habitat project of 16 townhomes where they hung doors, filled cracks with caulk and foam, and completed other construction tasks to bring the townhomes closer to completion.
