Dykema’s Ann Arbor Office “Cooks Up” Community Service
Approximately 20 attorneys and paralegals recently provided a delicious dinner for the families who reside at Ronald McDonald House while they or their loved ones receive important medical treatment at Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Dykema planned and coordinated the menu and cooked the meal. Those who were unable to spend an evening at the house donated either dollars or desserts. In addition, The Great Harvest Bread Company provided an in-kind contribution for the event.

"It is a privilege to live and work in the Ann Arbor community," said James M. Cameron, Jr., Managing Member of Dykema’s Ann Arbor office. "Our work with the Ronald McDonald House exemplifies Dykema’s ongoing commitment to community service."

In addition to civic sponsorships and active involvement in each of the 10 communities in which the firm’s offices are located, Dykema was recognized in 2006 by American Lawyer magazine for its pro bono program. Dykema also received the honor of The ACLU-Michigan Pro Bono Firm of The Year award for 2006. The firm's pro bono program encompasses a variety of issues and accepts referrals from a variety of organizations, including Legal Aid and Defender Association of Detroit, Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, the Capital Area Immigrant Coalition, and Public Counsel in Los Angeles, CA.
