"We are pleased to welcome David to King & Spalding and look forward to the contributions he will make to our practice and our clients," said John T. Bentivoglio, co-head of King & Spalding's FDA/Healthcare practice. Added Mark S. Bloch received a B.A. (cum laude) from Columbia University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.

"I am very pleased to be joining King & Spalding’s FDA/Healthcare practice. King & Spalding’s reputation in healthcare and regulatory issues, its remarkably talented lawyers and its focus on growth offer extraordinary opportunities for someone with my experience," Bloch said.

King & Spalding's Washington, D.C., office employs more than 150 lawyers and non-lawyer professionals, including government relations specialists, trade consultants and policy advisors. These lawyers and professionals practice in a broad range of areas including antitrust, class-action and mass tort litigation, commercial disputes, corporate finance, corporate governance, environmental, FDA/healthcare, public policy and government advocacy, government investigations, international trade, mergers and acquisitions and tax, among others.

Fried Frank Honored by The Puerto Rican Bar Association
The Puerto Rican Bar Association (PRBA) last night honored Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP at its 50th Golden Anniversary Gala Banquet at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. Fried Frank was honored for its community service and its support of the PRBA, including its regular hosting of the Three Kings Day Celebration honoring newly appointed Latino Judges for the past three years. Diana Sen, a Fried Frank associate, also serves as Vice President and is on its Board of Directors.

The PRBA was founded in 1957 by a group of Puerto Rican and Latino attorneys who began gathering socially to offer one another both personal and professional support in an era when it was difficult for attorneys of color to be accepted as members in established bar associations. The PRBA at that time focused its efforts on addressing the concerns of a rapidly growing Latino community and the legal services it required. Today, the PRBA has grown from a handful of attorneys to over 500 members representing the interests of attorneys, judges, law professors and students of Latino descent who share a common interest in fostering professional development in the legal community and addressing issues that are important to other Latino communities as a whole.
