Miami

Firm Culture:  Everyone walks around on eggshells because they are so scared. Everyone is also rude and gossipy. The most unprofessional law fim I have ever seen.
Work & Hours:  They overwork everyone; that is why their turnover is out of this world
Salary & Benefits:  it sucks
The Interview process:  okay
Overall Impression:  worst law firm in florida

West Palm Beach

Firm Culture:  Majority of firm management has no ethics, respect or morals. There is no belief in acknowledging additional training, dedication or skills.
Work & Hours:  limited to 40 hrs per week with high billing requirements
Salary & Benefits:  medical benefits are good, salary is low, raises are low and there are no merit raises.
Expect 1% - 2% annual raises
The Interview process:  average
Overall Impression:  Not a pleasant place to work. You walk on egg shells and are not appreciated or respected.

Miami

Firm Culture:  No regard for associates. Operates like a sweat shop. The turnover is perhaps the highest in Florida. Do not work here!!
Work & Hours:  6 days a week is mandatory with the evil managing partner checking each office, even on weekends, to see if associates and partners are in their offices. Very uncomfortable and odd environment.
Salary & Benefits:  Benefits are ok. The salaries are better than they used to be, however, when salary is divided by expected work hours it comes out to a figure slightly above minimum wage.
The Interview process:  Not bad. 1 to 2 interviews and you are in...
Overall Impression:  Worst firm in Southeastern U.S.

Tampa

Firm Culture:  My opinion:

The firm culture is unethical, immoral and intolerable. If you want to be overworked, underpaid, deprived of experience, and belittled by clownish and unprofessional supervisors, I think CSK might just be the place for you.
Work & Hours:  My opinion:

The partners expect associates to work very long hours during the week and to work in the office on the weekends. I remember at one point some partners complained that not enough associates were working on a Saturday, despite the fact that a tropical storm was threatening Florida.

Also, if you ever get pregnant, give birth to children, experience a family emergency, become sick, or -- God forbid -- take a short vacation, you should not expect any sympathy from CSK if you fall a little short for the month in terms of billable hours, even if you are ahead for the year.
Salary & Benefits:  My opinion:

In relation to the extremely high minimum billable hour requirements, I believe the salary and benefits are insulting. CSK seems to like to hire mediocre, clueless and inexperienced recent law school graduates, because in my opinion, such people are sufficiently desperate and lacking in self-respect to accept poor working conditions and a low salary, thereby allowing the partners to make greater profits.
The Interview process:  My opinion:

Based upon my experience and observations, the interview process is simple and easy. I am personally not aware of any partners who request law school transcripts, and some partners have not even requested writing samples. I doubt CSK can afford to be selective given its shockingly high turnover rate.
Overall Impression:  My opinion:

Even if CSK was your only opportunity for legal employment, I would not recommend working there. Instead, I would recommend that you leave the profession.

West Palm Beach

Firm Culture:  terrible. partner and associate relationships are bad. partners have no ethics. staff is treated terribly. staff is looked at like second class citizens. very high turnover for attorneys and staff. office is not run well.
Work & Hours:  awful. weekends are required or encouraged.
Salary & Benefits:  underpaid.
The Interview process:  .
Overall Impression:  very bad place to work. Miami has the reputation as the worst office to work for.

West Palm Beach

Firm Culture:  Lie, cheat, steal.
Work & Hours:  Unrealistically high billables and partners steal billables from associates and paralegals.
Salary & Benefits:  .
The Interview process:  .
Overall Impression:  Ethics do not exist especially for partners. Managing partner can't run office. Office manager is a pawn. Very high turnover. It's a free for all. No leaders. No respect for assistants. Most associates are arrogant.

West Palm Beach

Firm Culture:  Inconsiderate and leadership. Associates and assistants are bullied and disrespected with no regard to professionalism. Office administration is often heard degrating staff and constantly derating them into submission. Lack of respect specifically to Latinos and other minority staff. Office management is hostile and more often then not, you are set up to fail instead of succeed.
Work & Hours:  40 hour week with no overtime regardless of the amount of work given. If you want to feel like a mule, CMS is the place to work.
Salary & Benefits:  My opinion.
The Interview process:  Normal interview; however, the fangs come out when hired.
Overall Impression:  A revolving door. No team work. Lots of favoritism. Horrible place to work!
