Firm Culture:  Turnover is terrible
Work & Hours:  Never seem to coincide with the clients needs
Salary & Benefits:  NA...$1 would be too much for the productivity of their attorneys
The Interview process:  NA
Overall Impression:  If I could rate using ZERO stars, I would. This has got to be the most unorganized, ineffective, unproductive, unmotivated, rude, deceptive law office in Michigan. PLEASE do yourself a huge favor and do not take your legal matters / bankruptcy here. My husband and I were extremely misled going into our chapter 13; this office will put you through an assembly line of attorneys beginning with the first consult. The turnover rate is incredible ...bounced from one attorney to the next time phoning in and find I out that one is gone, here's who you'll now be dealing with. Next, once you think you have made the right decision and are counting on this legal team to support and guide you through, you will then be passed around from one incompetent attorney to another; none of which will help you during this already stressful and emotional roller coaster of a process. For example, my husband emailed the office well over a month ago to get some counsel on a lease ending on our vehicle. The email was never replied to. My husband then called and was promised a lawyer would call him back...NOPE! Then he went to the office and was still not helped, only met by and inexperienced receptionist that had no idea in how to deal with his legal questions nor could she get an attorney to come out to speak with him..."they're all busy." We have been told that they are short a lawyer, had to close the office for the flu outbreak for days, that the attorneys are swamped and too busy....these are just some of the excuses I am mentioning; all that have nothing to do with US the clients!! These are not OUR problems!
My husband and I are livid and want to spread the word far and wide...this place is terrible!!! Although we are educated people, we were never treated or valued in that way; rather as a number shuffling along the line. We had unfortunate circumstances that caused us to file this bankruptcy. It was a hard and embarrassing situation. Kostopoulos and associates just made our situation a million times worse. I despise this place! I would never intentionally try to hurt someone's business...I am a kindergarten teacher for God's sake! However, this place ...I'd love nothing more than to see their law office fail and close for business. Truly, they have no right to be in practice to paying clients.
