The law firm Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A. is pleased to welcome Andrew K. Taylor as an associate with the firm.

Taylor, a resident of Middlesex, will join the firm’s Litigation Group.

Taylor, who was previously a summer associate with the firm, also worked as a law clerk at Diehl Servilla LLC, where he gained experience in the areas of patent and trade secret law. He also held an internship with the UMDNJ Department of Legal Management. Prior to law school, Taylor worked in the area of environmental health and inspection.

Taylor is a 2007 cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law where he was an Senior Editor of the Law Review. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology /Chemistry from Manchester College.

The Somerville law firm Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A. is pleased to announce that member Jerry S. D'Aniello has been selected for inclusion in the Family Law section of New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars 2007.

New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars are sought out by an attorney-led research team, which actively searches for outstanding new attorneys to complement the annual statewide survey of Super Lawyers. The research team evaluates prospective candidates for indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement as a supplement to the Super Lawyers balloting. Civic service and pro bono activities are also considered. Their research is verified and a good-standing review is carried out to ensure that candidates are in good standing with the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics web site. Only two and a half percent of New Jersey attorneys are given this honor.

D’Aniello, a resident of Hillsborough, is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney. He focuses his practice on family and matrimonial law, including divorce and post-judgment litigation, custody and parenting time issues, alimony and child support, pre-nuptial and settlement agreements, palimony suits, mediation and arbitration.

A frequent lecturer on matrimonial law topics, D’Aniello has been published numerous times in New Jersey State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education materials and New Jersey Lawyer. He is a Certified Divorce Mediator, Court Appointed Custody Mediator for the Somerset County Mediation Program, Court Approved Financial Mediator for Economic Aspects of Family Law by the New Jersey courts and is approved to the Somerset, Morris and Union County Court Rosters. Jerry also serves on the New Jersey Supreme Court, Office of Attorney Ethics, District XIII Attorney Ethics Committee.

D’Aniello is admitted to the Bars of New Jersey, New York, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Somerset County and New Jersey State Bar Associations. D’Aniello previously was a member of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. In 2003, he was selected by his peers as one of the Top 10 Attorneys Under 40 in Family Law.
