Elyssa LeFevre Chayo joins Patent-Pilot to head BD in the Americas
Elyssa LeFevre Chayo, based in Houston, Texas, USA, has taken on the role of Business Development Director, Americas for Patent-Pilot, a patent data analytics company based in Munich, Germany.
Ms. LeFevre Chayo holds a BSBA in International Business from Old Dominion University, with a focus in Latin America. She began her career managing global IP portfolios in-house in the United States for famous brands, such as Gold’s Gym International, Omni Hotels, and later Payless ShoeSource, Stride Rite, Saucony, Keds, and others. She is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and active with various IP law organizations, currently serving as Secretary of the Law Firm Administration Committee for the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI). Ms. LeFevre Chayo has authored articles on business development and marketing topics for IP law firms, and you can find her speaking on panels and lecturing from time to time for organizations such as AIPLA, AIPF, and PLI. Elyssa also owns Firm Forward, LLC, a strategic business development consultancy for intellectual property law firms.
