Jonasen Named "BusinessForce" Chair
Orlando partner Jeff Jonasen has been tapped to lead "BusinessForce" during the 2007-2008 election cycle. BusinessForce, Central Florida's largest political action committee, is affiliated with the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce. BusinessForce represents over 10,000 businesses and tens of thousands of employees who are interested in the election of pro-business candidates. Jonasen will assume the chairmanship at the upcoming November 30 BusinessForce Executive Board meeting.

Jonasen has been active in BusinessForce since its inception and has served on its Executive Board for over five years. Additionally, he has served as the Chairman and Host Sponsor of the annual Baker Hostetler Washington, D.C., Regional “Fly-In” and also a term as Chairman of the Chamber’s Leadership Alumni Board.

As the 2008 election year looms ahead, Jonasen stated, "With the large number of regional legislative delegation, county commission and school board seats up for grabs in 2008, BusinessForce will be starting its work early in 2007 to ensure that well qualified, pro-business men and women are encouraged to run for and are elected to these important posts." He added, "To undertake these challenges, BusinessForce is fortunate to have serving on its Executive Board some very politically astute business and community leaders who will help guide our work.
