Lord, Bissell & Brook, LLP, with more than 250 attorneys in its Chicago office, also has offices in New York and Los Angeles and is internationally recognized for its top quality insurance practice in tort, products liability, and medical malpractice groups. Clients range from start-ups to Fortune 500’s. Associates get client contact very early on and are charged with significant responsibility. They are often called upon to coordinate large transactions and directly counsel smaller clients on a wide range of issues. The firm represents a wide variety of insurance clients, including domestic and foreign insurers, as well as from self-insured companies. Female representation at the firm is very high, and a generous maternity program and part-time arrangements make this firm very attractive. The firm encourages its attorneys to perform pro bono services. Attorneys at the firm work hard, but the culture of this firm has always been one in which their lives outside the office matter as well. This firm has a team oriented work environment and offers market salaries.
