The law firm of Krieg DeVault LLP, Indianapolis, Indiana, is pleased to announce that Governmental Affairs Consultant M. Shannon Kiely has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Indiana Mental Health Memorial Foundation, Inc.

Since its incorporation in 1962, the Indiana Mental Health Memorial Foundation has been dedicated to funding services and programs affecting the field of mental health. For over 32 years, through careful stewardship of it assets, the Foundation's Board of Directors have distributed dollars to mental health programs and projects that fulfill its purpose.

Prior to joining Krieg DeVault, Shannon Kiely served as Governor Daniels' Deputy Legislative Director/Policy Director from December 2005 to December 2006. In that role, she lobbied on behalf of the Governor and the Administration's Agencies. Ms. Kiely also served as a Policy Director to Governor Daniels on professional licensing matters. She was with the Indiana House of Representatives from 2004-2005 as a Legislative Assistant to several Republican legislators. In addition to assisting her legislators, Ms. Kiely was also responsible for staffing the Local Government Committee. She has also completed college internships with the Indiana Manufacturers Association, Senator Richard G. Lugar, and the United States Foreign Relations committee. Ms. Kiely graduated with a B.S. from Indiana University.

Children's Bureau, Inc. is a private, nonprofit child and family services agency. It is licensed by the State of Indiana and accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children, Inc. Children's Bureau makes agency services available and affordable to all families and children. Agency programs are funded in part by the United Way of Central Indiana, the Indiana Department of Family and Social Services Administration, individuals and other private and public foundations and organizations.

Christopher Long has over 20 years of experience in private practice after graduating summa cum laude from Indiana University - School of Law in 1983. Mr. Long conducts complex and multi-faceted real estate transactions. His representation includes developers of commercial properties, such as office buildings, retail stores and industrial parks, as well as residential developers who deal with subdivisions and undeveloped land. Mr. Long works in all aspects of real estate encompassing strategic planning, acquisition of property, arrangement and negotiation of financing, zoning and like-kind exchanges. In addition to his real estate practice, Mr. Long represents commercial and real estate lending institutions and is involved with business organization planning, including the formation of limited liability companies.

Mr. Long formerly served as board member and President of United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Indiana, Inc., a United Way agency.
