Ali Naveed Arshad Joins Curtis, Mallet-Prevost LLP in Dubai
Summary: The Dubai office of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP has welcomed Ali Naveed Arshad as of counsel.
Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP is growing its Dubai office with the addition of Ali Naveed Arshad as counsel. Arshad joins from a local Omani law firm, where he was the practice head. He is highly regarded in a variety of practice areas, including banking, corporate, energy, power and water projects.
Arshad has worked in Oman since 2011. He has a great amount of experience in the Middle East in his practice areas. Arshad will continue to cover Oman and UAE from the Dubai office.
The Managing Partner of Curtis offices in Oman and UAE, Bruce Palmer, said of Arshad, “Ali is a talented young lawyer with a very bright future ahead of him. He adds to the depth and breadth of our Middle East bench during a time of expansion in Dubai, while highlighting our leading position in the Oman legal market.”
Arshad added, “I have always admired Curtis, which is a big name in Oman and the wider region. I could not be happier at joining the growing team in Dubai and expanding my network of colleagues.”
Arshad earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the City, University of London and a Certificate of Legislative Drafting from University of Boston School of Law. He received an LL.B. from the University of London UK. He is admitted as a barrister in England, Wales, and Pakistan.
